When we decided to use our superfoods to create tasty, healthy baking mixes, we didn’t want to cut out any potential customers, and we needed something nut free as I’m allergic to nuts! So after doing a lot of research and spending every evening after work in the kitchen, we came up with the perfect recipe that caters for all allergens, is organic and also has a high enough percentage of superfoods to offer tested health claims.

There is no other muffin mix like this, anywhere! So if you can’t eat gluten, dairy, nuts, soya, coconut, sweeteners, refined sugars or non-organic products, then this mix is for you! We even have a vegan recipe on pack for all our vegan customers who want to enjoy dairy free muffins.

  1. 400g Muffin Mix
  2. 4 large eggs (or 5tbsp Chia Seeds + 15tbsp water for vegan recipe)
  3. 200g butter (or dairy free spread for vegan recipe)
  4. 5ml vanilla essence

How to make:

  1. (vegan recipe only) In a food processor or pestle & mortar, grind the Chia Seeds until fine. Mix in a bowl with the water and leave to sit for 5 mins, or until gloopy.
  2. Preheat oven to 150 c/300 f/ Gas Mark 2
  3. Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and beat together until smooth (start of slowly so the flour doesn’t go everywhere!).
  4. Spoon the mix into muffin or cupcake cases (we use silicon moulded for best results)
  5. Bake for 25 mins or until golden brown, then remove and enjoy warm.

  • Adding a little indulgence with 50g of dark chocolate chips
  • Getting a little fruity by spreading jam over your muffins
  • Going nuts and throw 50g of chopped almonds in the mix

    Absolutely Fabulous,Picked up a bag from Homesense and I am hooked.
    I add dark chocolate nibs and eat them warm so the chocolate is gooey.
    A staple in my pantry.

    I overcooked them a little bit, didn’t add any extras. Recently no wheat diet and these were just what I needed with a cuppa. Like the crunchieness
