Basic Chocolate Porridge

Recipe for basic chocolate porridge:

  • 160 g instant oats
  • 600 ml water (you can also use milk if you like!)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp Creative Nature cacao powder
  • 1 tsp sweetener
  • Sprinkle of Creative Nature Goji Berries
  • Sprinkle of Creative Nature Cacao Nibs

Method

place the oats / milk or water in a large pan over a medium heat and add a tiny pinch of salt. bring to a steady simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring as often as you can to give you a smooth creamy porridge – if you like your porridge runnier, simply add some more water until you’ve got the consistency you like. add the cacao powder and sweetener at the end. serve hot, top with peanut butter, Creative Nature Goji berries, banana slices and Creative Nature cacao nibs if you like and enjoy!
