Maca Energy Bites


  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon lucuma
  • 1 teaspoon Creative Nature maca powder
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice/rind
  • 1/2 cup medjool dates
  • a pinch of coconut oil/carob syrup


In a food processor, blend the flour, almonds, maca, seeds and lucuma until a crumbly flour had formed. Add the lemon juice, dates and syrup, then blend until the mixture becomes sticky and tough. Roll into balls or freeze as bars – feel free to adorn with toppings of choice, such as cinnamon or desiccated coconut.
