Long summer nights, the low buzz of chatter, and a fruity cocktail in hand. What more do we expect from the month of August? If you’re bored of the same old cocktails and are craving a creative alcoholic kick then don’t stop here! We’re going to give you a few unique drink recipes to fulfil those cravings. Summers almost an excuse to have the ultimate cocktail off – who has the most fruity, elaborate or colourful drink? We’ll ask you again at the end of the night ?
Let’s start the drinks off with something to set you on the right path, revive your energy levels. After all you should start as you mean to go on.
Drink no.1: Raspberry Mojito
- 3/4 cup Fresh Blueberries
- 4 ounces White Rum, 4 shot glasses full
- 2 ounces Water
- 2 cups Frozen Raspberries
- 6 cups Ice Cubes
- 1/4 cup Fresh Mint
- 2-3 tablespoons Creative Nature Pink Himalayan Salt, To taste, plus more for rimming
- 2-3 shots of Rum (optional)
Lightly mash the blueberries in a bowl (optional as texture is up to you) then add to your blender with all other ingredients and wiz away! For the most exciting part of the cocktail, pour some lemon juice into a bowl and dip the rim of the glass into it then sprinkle the Himalayan Salt over for texture and your first drink has been completed.
You’re halfway through the night and things may be starting to get a little weird… why not keep your cocktails on the same level.
Drink no.2: Cosmopolitan with a twist
- 120ml vodka
- 60ml orange liqueur
- 60ml cranberry juice
- juice of 1 lime
- slice of watermelon for garnishing
- 2-3 Creative Nature Goji Berries
Stir the ingredients and a little ice together or put them in a cocktail shaker to combine. Strain into two chilled martini glasses. Pop the Goji Berries in and save them until last when they have soaked up all the… goodness, and let the night continue. Add the Watermelon as a top hat and sip away!
You have been taken from one fruity cocktail to the next, its time now to unwind and embrace the end of the night.
Drink no.3: Cacao Espresso Martini
- 50ml vodka
- 35ml coffee liqueur
- 1 shot (25ml) of espresso
- 1 tsp Creative Nature Cacao Powder
Mix the vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso into a cocktail shaker. Fill both glass and cocktail shaker with ice to chill. Add the lid on and shake away all your worries! You want to smash
the ice up into small chunks. Then pour into your glass and sprinkle a little bit of fairy dust (Cacao Powder) for the finishing touches.
